Barrier invites a collection of esteemed artists to reimagine the Spirit Realm EP, culminating in a body of abstracted, contrasting works that take the original material into epic new territory.

WNDFRM delivers an odyssey into dark ethereal depths with a visionary touch and enduring force. Atmospheric fissures washed into a tempest carry us out on a rhythmic riptide as the journey begins.

Troy Micheau's sound is ever evolving, as intriguing. As Contact Cult, this take on Porte-Voix defies categorization in a fantastic cavalcade of spirited trampling and ghostly chanting, conjuring a gathering of mythic beings.

Sean Pierce's 'Signal Realm Flip' is pure brutality. An ultra-beating laid under ominous horns of war take Signal Realm about-face in a labyrinthine rhythmic drill. A language of Pierce's own making, it speaks in tongues.

While the dust from your speakers settle, Strategy brings us fully into a murky dubbed out take on Telos. Making proper use of tape delay and reverb over thick smelted chords and corporeal textures, the muddy bass dragging us into the quicksand, the roots of rhythm give us a stronghold to pull ourselves back to dry land.

JMV anchors the voyage at bay with truncated percussion, soaring vistas, and the lightness of being on firm soil at dawn. We're left with the question, where will the voyage take us now?

The voyage has just begun.
